PRO PLAYERS ASSOCIATION CELEBRITY CHARITY TOURNAMENT
The Colorado Sky Sox plan to join Pro Players Association in the organization of our golf tournament in 2013. A major portion of the proceeds will benefit Colorado youth in baseball. The event is to be scheduled and will tentatively take place in the Colorado Springs, CO area.
THE AARON SMITH MEMORIAL TROPHY WILL BE AWARDED TO THE FIRST PLACE TEAM OVERALL. This trophy memorializes the Late Aaron Smith, former Denver Bronco and Charter Executive Board Member of PPA. Aaron was very instrumental in the formation of our 501(c)3. His untimely passing in November 2008, at the age of 48, left an indelible mark on our organization and in our hearts. A special Scholarship Fund to assist with his daughter's college education expenses has been established and will also benefit from this tournament.
