PPA Monday Night Football drawing makes national headlines in 2003 when the Oakland Raiders stole our Elway jersey at the Marriott Denver Tech. It was later recovered by the Marriott staff. The explanation was that the Raiders, staying at the Marriott for a Monday Night game against Denver, felt jinxed by its presence on display in the hotel's lobby, so they ditched it. Must have worked as they lost the game!

Jerry Stander gets ready to release one of the soap box derby vehicles he designed and built custom for the August 2009 Sertoma Society Soap Box Derby, Littleton, CO. The specialized derby car was designed to accommodate two individuals, one of which is a disabled participant.
